Response for Innovations for the Developing World
One point that author mentions is that the economic model of distribution is beneficial for local small business. Firstly, the distrubution of resources will allow more people to have opportunity to participate in the business to be a entrepreneur. According to this article, Grameen Phone, the largest cell phone company in Bangladesh has 200,000 rural entrepreneurs, so more entrepreneurs is better for local business. Secondly, when the number of entrepreneurs is more, the types of business will rise.It improve the variety of market to promote the development of local economy. Finally, if technology and resources are concentracted together, there may be unreasonable and waste in developing country. The distribution model can be used to allocate resources more effectively in developing country.
I do not understand these ideas:
ReplyDelete1. "Bangladesh has 200,000 rural entrepreneurs, so more entrepreneurs is better "
2. "f technology and resources are concentracted together, there may be unreasonable and waste "
