Summary of An Upheaval

    In An Upheaval by Anton Chekhow,  the writer describe a governess leave the master's house to express an anger for unfair treatment from master's wife by searching her room. The story begins after the governess who named Mashenka returns home. She finds her room searched. She feels that her right and pride had been violated.Although she feels terrible sad, she go to dinner. What the hostess said decided her to leave the house. The master admit to her that he stolen the brooch to urge her to stay. Finaly, she leave without any hesitation.

    The novel is from the governess(Mashenka)'s visual angle to tell us about that we should treat others equally,whatever you are rich or poor and don't be overcontrolled anyone. In my opinion, Madame kushkin over controls all the people in her house, especially her husband, that make her husban Nikolay go into crazy to steal her expensive brooch for money and make Mashenka who has a well-education girl being searched as a brooch-thief to leave angrily. I think everony would leave Madame Kushkin her coward husband at least. This is the result of over controlling. Because he will steal other things for money and hide behind the servants. 
Mr kushkin is a poor guy overcontrolled by his own wife but he is gigantic different from Mashenka when they face the ufair treatment. Mr kushkin just act like a coward and hide behind stealing for money but Mashenka want to fight it back even she doesn't have the ability and just can leave. I think we must fight against unfair treatment like overcontrolled by legal way.

    If i am Mr. Kushkin, even if will lose big part of my property, I'll diverce Fedosya Vassilyevana for a better life in the future.

Yunzhe Li RW613 12/07/2017           In the article “Mr. Mom”written by Tony Hicks， the author expatiates the beneficial aspects and difficult aspects of being a stay-at-home dad. He explains that more and more men like to be a stay-at-home dad because men can do better than women and get a better relationship with children.
